Instructional Designer

The Instructional Designer will design, develop and implement instructional experiences which make acquiring knowledge and skills more efficient, effective and engaging through the use of Agile Instructional Design Methodologies.
Works through an iterative process aligned with subject matter experts, project sponsors, and other stakeholders to redeploy existing curriculum and develop new curriculum.
Designs and evaluates training programs and reports training effectiveness.
Develops programs for Virtual, In-person, Computer based, and other delivery methods.
Regularly evaluates and make recommendations for improvement of programs.
Develops external member-facing training elements to provide for easy adoption of features within our Credit Union.
NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY WORK Research design and develop learning materials for new and existing programs.
Foster and influence relationships with business leaders to develop programs for learning and development needs; Work directly with subject matter experts, and business stakeholders for each project.
Conduct needs assessments and develop performance-based learning objectives to meet SME's training goals.
Design, develop, and deliver creative and interactive instructional materials, such as e-learning modules, videos, simulations, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and assessments.
Ensure projects are instructionally sound and within scope and schedule parameters; Translate business objectives into training and development solutions and ensure training materials are effective.
Review and critique applicable forms for compliance, documentation, accuracy, completeness, legibility, and standardization; Manage activities and deliverables from needs assessment, roadmap/conceptual design, resource allocation, pilot, preparation and implementation to logistics management and post-training evaluation.
Design and develop training that engages participants in active learning and develops their understanding and expertise.
Manage project and make efficient use of resources; Create multi-media training (such as web based or classroom-based training).
Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of training programs using metrics, observations, surveys, and assessments then make appropriate recommendations for improvements.
Research and make recommendations on educational best practices, instructional resources, instructional technologies and multimedia hardware/software to support teaching and learning.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Here are a few qualifications you MUST have to be qualified for this position.
1 to 3 years experience in Instructional Design in a professional environment using classroom and multi-media methods.
Experience in course material in the learning design and development process.
In addition, comprehensive knowledge of advanced instructional principles, methods, techniques, and standards, as well as knowledge of current and emerging trends in learning design and development.
Possess an in-depth understanding of adult learning principles with a sound comprehension of instructional design and various training methodologies (e.
g.
, lecture, case studies, role plays, tests, etc.
).
Experience working with Instructional Design software like Articulate Pro and Storyline or other relevant software.
Knowledge and experience in working with learning management software like Cornerstone, Docebo, or other similar software.
Ability to function in an office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to:
PC, copier, telephone, etc.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
(file boxes, computer printer).
Travel required on occasion.

BA/BS degree in Business Information Technology, Learning & Development or related field.
Financial Services knowledge.
Sales and service training.
CPTD or APTD certification is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
